My story is the one with Black Canary and Zatanna teaming up with the original Crimson Avenger. It's a blast and I hope everyone gets a copy in September!

JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA 80-PAGE GIANT #1

Written by Chuck Kim, Josh Williamson, Rich Fogel and others
Art by Mahmud Asrar, Adrian Syaf and others
Cover by Jay Anacleto
With a tale this massive, we could only fit it in an 80-page giant! When a battle between Epoch and the Time Commander spills over into our era, the Justice League finds itself scattered throughout time. That leaves Superman and Dr. Light fighting alongside a tornado-powered Samurai, Green Lantern and Red Arrow locked in a showdown with Cinnamon in the Old West, Green Arrow and Firestorm facing the Bride of Frankenstein in WWII, John Stewart and Vixen drawing swords alongside the Shining Knight, and Black Canary and Zatanna evading gangsters with the original Crimson Avenger!
Reintroducing the classic, extra-sized issues for a whole new generation, this special issue features the writing of TV’s Chuck Kim (Heroes) and Rich Fogel (Batman Beyond, Justice League) along with writer Joshua Williamson (Dear Dracula) and artists such as Mahmud Asrar (Dynamo 5) and Adrian Syaf (BLACKEST NIGHT: BATMAN)!
On sale September 30 • 80 pg, FC, $5.99 US

That is really cool news Josh. This is a testament for everyone who has the dream of working for the BIG 2, work hard and it will pay off.

Thanks, Josh. Yeah, just takes lots of hard work and patience. This is just another step in a very long road for my career.

This story was a lot of fun to do and I got to work with three of my favorite DC characters. I even tried to sneak the death of Superman in there, but they wouldn't let me. I'm not kidding. Ask me about it in person sometime. It's kind of a funny story.

That's pretty funny that you tried to include that. But, I don't even think DC really acknowledges the death of Superman anymore, except by including Steel, and Cyborg Superman in continuity still. But, I may be wrong, alas I mostly read Image and Dark Horse books now-a-days.

Grand news. Stopped buying the Big 2 . Only Deadpool or some of the sci-fi books Marvel are doing Halo and Wildstorms Starcraft and Gears of War tempt me nowadays. I will however keep an eye out for this.

Congratulations!  Smiley

Deadpool is my favorite on going comic book right now. It is just plain hilarious, Daniel Way would be a smart man to create some creator owned titles, after what he has done with Wolverine Origins, and creating Daken, as well as making Deadpool a huge success makes me say I am DEMANDING he make CREATOR OWNED TITLES hence forth.

I don't buy a lot of DC comics but I'll try to remember to pick this up.  I don't know who the Crimson Avenger is.  Does he wear fishnets and panties too?   Because I think I'm seeing a pattern to your favorite characters.

The Crimson Avenger was one of the first super heroes. He predates Superman and the Spirit.
He's a classic noir type hero with the fedora, cape, domino mask and two .45s.

here is a link to some info:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimson_Avenger_(Lee_Travis)

I regards to the ladies in the fishnets, Zatanna and Black Canary... who doesn't like that?!
Actually when you read the book, you'll set the fishnets are part of the story.
