Oh, hey, I was just thinking you should come to the Windy City Comicon on Oct. 25th.  Both Jenny and I will be there, among many others.

And depending on where you're located, on Oct. 10th I'll be at a release party for my new Western book, Cisco Kid vs. Wyatt Earp, at a comic store down in the south 'burbs.

Let me extend the invitation to all my Chicagoland people.  That's two cool local events in Oct.  Love to meet you.

You know, I had NEVER heard of the Windy City Con until they asked me to be friends on MySpace. I actually would have gone to that if I wasn't going to be in Portland going to two other shows.

I can't get to the release party, but maybe I'll look up the store on google street view and just sit in front of the comp with a party hat on, celebrating in spirit.
